Oris Clay

Oris Clay was born March 14, 1912 in Grand Chain,
Illinois, to Mark and Alice Clay.
He was reared and educated in Grand Chain.
Being the eldest son, of a sanctified Minister, he confessed Christ at an
early age and continued to love and support the church for the remainder of his
life.
He was united in Holy Matrimony in
Benton, Kentucky. To this union
five children were born. Later he
moved his family to Davenport, Iowa, where they resided until his employer
transferred him to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1951.
He retired after 27 years and three months from the International
Harvester Company.
