Linda Ball   My couple big stumbling block are:
John McIntire b 1800 Ire
                     d ?? no clue
spouse:
Elizabeth (Unknown) b 1810 GA
                               d ?? no clue

They are in 1830 / 1840 / 1850 census's but I don't have Elizabeth's maiden name
so that's a brick plus Ii Can't figure out where they were buried. There's no marriage
for them in the IL index either...
They had 7 children:
William B. 1827 IL
Mellisa 1828 IL
Marshall 1829 IL
Emily 1832 IL
John 1838 IL
Mary 1843 IL
Melvina 1845 ILl

John born 1800 was one of the first teachers in Pulaski which is pretty neat !

My other brick is

William B. born 1827 IL died 1890 IL
wife: Sarah Jane (unknown) b 1837 TN d 1917 IL
I can't find them either ! No marriage and their children, 2 of them are born
before the 1860 census, but I can't find them either !
I think the MCINTIRE's skipped town for the 1860 census ( ha ha ha )
the only one in there that is mine is John son of John and Elizabeth, all
the other 6 kids, are missing. Please email me if you have information to help me with these brick walls.

1. CAROLINE¹ AUSTIN-POWELL was born 1850 in Kentucky. She married WILLIAM WASHINGTON, SR. August 11, 1870 in Pulaski County, Illinois, son of FATHER WASHINGTON and LUCINDA. William was born 1845 in Louisana.

Children of CAROLINE AUSTIN-POWELL and WILLIAM WASHINGTON are:

i. ADDIE² WASHINGTON, b. 1871, Illinois.

ii. WILLIAM WASHINGTON, JR., b. December 1873, Illinois; m. MILDRED VAUGHN, September 19, 1896; b. May 1882.

iii. AARON WASHINGTON, b. September 1875, Illinois; d. September 25, 1907, Grand Chain, Illinois; m. FLORENCE ANNABELL CURTIS, November 21, 1902, Pulaski County, Illinois; b. January 1878, Illinois.

iv. ESTHER WASHINGTON, b. 1877, Illinois.

MARION WASHINGTON, b. 1880, Illinois.

Deb Davis - I would like to know the parents, siblings and other descendants of Mildred (Millie) Vaughn. Mildred VAUGHN was born May 1882 probably in Pulaski County, Illinois. She married William WASHINGTON, Jr. September 19, 1896, son of William WASHINGTON and Caroline AUSTIN-POWELL. He was born December 1873 in Illinois. They lived in St. Clair County in the 1920 census.

Children of Mildred VAUGHN and William WASHINGTON:

i.              Ona WASHINGTON, b. September 15, 1898; d. June 1971, Pulaski, Illinois. Ona married a SOLOMON, but I don’t know his given name.

ii.         Herschel WASHINGTON.

I would like to know what happened to Herschel. His last known whereabouts were in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.
